At The Grapevine (Y Winwydden) Bistro and Restaurant our day starts at 7.30am when we cater for the just arrived visitor, those in self catering accommodation and local early birds in search of a hearty breakfast to set them up for the day. We later provide morning coffee and snacks, and lunch where a feature is our daily specials board.
It is though our evening Bistro and Restaurant for which we are best known. Using only fresh produce we concentrate where possible on local produce, including locally sourced fish and meats. Sea Bass and fish of all types figure prominently on both our a la carte menu and our specials board as do steaks, pastas, cajun and vegetarian specialities. Licensed, we have a popular wine list and a feature here is our open plan kitchen, so you can see your food being prepared.
The capacity at the Grapevine is just 40 so everyone can enjoy the relaxed, intimate atmosphere. If at all possible advance booking is recommended particularly for evening dinner – although, of course, we accommodate the casual caller whenever we can.
We pride ourselves on providing a rather upmarket menu at realistic prices. Whatever the time of day you will find the Grapevine to be welcoming, relaxed and casual and offering outstanding and delicious value.
